History suggests the real breakthrough arrives when society asks a different question.

"If this technology had always existed, would we design our world this way at all?"

That question transformed factories after electricity.

It transformed cities after automobiles.

It transformed commerce after the internet.

None of those revolutions happened because the technology suddenly became more powerful.

They happened because people finally abandoned assumptions that no longer made sense.

AI may follow the same path.

Its biggest impact may not come from writing better emails.

Or generating better code.

Or answering more questions.

It may come from making entire ways of working feel as outdated as a horse carriage on a modern highway.
